About Me
Like many of you, I’ve been in love with gardening ever since I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are garden-related, whether it’s catching lizards hiding under the purple-flowering iceplant, helping my grandmother place her plastic flowers so they’re ‘just right’, or watching my mother spend hours building yet another gorgeous stone wall in her garden I’ve always been surrounded by those who loved getting out in their gardens and creating something beautiful for the sheer pleasure of doing so.
Professionally speaking, I’ve been a Landscape Designer for the past 10 years, with my company ‘Harmony In The Garden’. The name of my company – Harmony in the Garden – is exactly what I try and create for both myself and my clients. My own garden is one of the few places I can go to completely ‘lose myself’. It’s the one thing I do just for ME. Most of my clients want that same experience, a place that reflects their individual style that they can call their own.
My goal is to bring out the ‘hidden artist’ which I believe lives in every person. Sometimes the ‘artist’ is hidden waaaay down deep and takes some serious coaxing to come out, and sometimes it’s brimming on the surface and all that’s needed is someone to offer a little encouragement. In either situation, nothing brings me more pleasure than seeing the Creativity Lightbulb go off in someone’s head while discussing their future garden plans.
