When I was a small child, my grandfather used to say “Easter time is the time for eggs, and the time for eggs is Easter time!” That was one of my favorite of his funny little sayings.
While hiding Easter eggs for her younger cousins, my daughter (whose really taken an interest in photography lately) grabbed her camera and snapped some pictures of her favorite hiding places.
Enjoy!

So however you celebrate this glorious day, be thankful for all the blessings in your life and have a beautiful Sunday!

KENWOOD???? I love it there. HURRAH! I’ll visit. Retirement? You’re practically a fetus. When do you plan to retire? You’ll NEVER retire.
Love,
Sharon
Yes, retire….is that a pipe dream or WHAT? Actually, it’s where we’ll move when my daughter is off to college in a few years…then I can REALLY create a garden from scratch (and believe me, it’s from scratch!)…We’d better make it quick, though, while I can still put in a good 5 hours of gardening without completely crippling myself! Our view is of the St. Francis winery….just stunning beyond belief. Unfortunately, there’s no home on it. Well, no ‘real’ home…only a 40-year old mobile home (ICK) that we’ve gutted so we can have a place to stay while we dream…..
You are so ADORABLE. Love the Easter egg photos and wanted to jump in on the maroon issue. Was it Eleanor Perenyi who wrote that it is the worst color in the garden? What was she thinking? It pops out and jazzes up a space and it sounds like it is one of your very Rebecca signatures.
Very Rebecca is good.

Sharon
Sharon – what a sweet comment! And I LOVE that you used all-caps, too (especially after our conversation at the GWA party, and Jeff’s frown on his face when I said I’m a all-caps kinda gal)! And who is this Eleanor Perenyi lady who’s dissing my favorite color? She and I might have to ‘have words’ should we meet. Maroon hater – hmph! Thanks again for stopping by!
I love it. Makes me wish there were kids around here to hide eggs for.
Glad you were able to get into the spirit before the downpour started… Fun pictures!
Nice photography and creative choices in hiding the easter eggs.
happy easter day
I like your take on Easter color in the garden. I hope it’s a beautiful in CA as it is in CT.
Delightful post!
